Placée sous la direction d’Hélène Lacharmoise, la galerie privilégie le discours de l’artiste et sa pertinence avec le medium utilisé et s’intéresse notamment aux artistes jouant de la transversalité entre les arts. Poursuivant une même ligne de programmation, la Galerie Dix9 vise à représenter durablement des artistes de tout pays, peu ou pas connus sur la scène française tout en cherchant à les promouvoir à l’international. Leur propos part du réel, qui peut être traité de façon réaliste ou non. Ils travaillent sur le passage et la mutation, à la recherche du passé dans un monde en devenir, entre illusion et objectivité, mémoire et oubli. Il y est question de durée et de temps, qu’il soit intime, social ou politique. Il y est aussi question de l’image, sa condition d’apparition et de perception. English version Born out of the desire to promote young talent on the art scene, as well as confirmed artists, Galerie DIX9 opened its doors at the end of November 2007. Under the direction of Helene Lacharmoise, the gallery puts the emphasis on the artist’s vision and its relation to the medium used. It is particularly interested in artists who work across disciplines. Following its editorial line, the Galerie Dix9 aims to represent artists from all countries, little - or unknown on the French scene, as well as promoting them internationally. Their ideas start from the « real », whether treated realistically or not. Their work concentrates on passages and mutations, looking for the past in tomorrow’s world, somewhere between illusion and objectivity, memories and the forgotten. It’s a matter of duration and time, whether intimate, social or political. And it’s a matter of image and the conditions of its manifestation and perception.
